Have you completed your degree in civil engineering and enjoyed the time span of your college days well? Being a civil engineer you have two options at this stage depending upon your interest.
First, go for field experience by working as a site engineering, and the second is go for masters in civil engineering.




If you choose second option and planning for become master in civil engineering but confused which field for M.Tech should go with.
It's your interest which decides your choice but some other factors are there which you should consider to, for example, scope, salary exception etc.

1. Structural Engineering

  • Ability to live in tier 2 city with own freelance consultancy

2. Transportation Engineering
  • Scope for Ph.D. and job at abroad. 
  • Good multinational consultancy is offering job at tier 1 cities Good potential of job at abroad.
  • Those who work in pavement; have good potential of earning money through freelance consultancy and launching material testing labs

3. Geotechnical Engineering
  • Consultancy in materials alternative way towards structures(those who are not able to fetch structures can opt this one)

4. Environment Engineering
  • Scope for Ph.D. and job at the abroad/freelance consultancy. 
  • Good multinational consultancy are offering job at tier 1 cities

 5. Building Construction and Management 
  • For those who are interested in site planning , project management, Green buildings etc.
  • Good Job opportunity in India as Project Manager

6. Remote sensing 
  • Ends up with other fields, but overall good

7. Water Resource Engineering
  • Core research and faculty job at government colleges
  • Good research in this area has value in abroad

8. Geospatial Engineering
